Run over 10 fortnights This meditation series involves discovering your inner child. In this discovery you will learn what the inner child is first then we will work through a series of exercises to help you connect with, understand & heal your inner child like self. The inner child is the 1st self that is shaped by the experiences you had as a child, many of your cultural norms are set during this period as are social, conflict resolution & relationship behaviors. Your experiences during this time shape your responses & perceptions of what joy, happiness, playfulness, wonder & innocence. When the inner child has experienced a trauma or negative situation it can carry through with us for the rest of our life with dysfunctional behavior we may not even be aware of.
This Series will include:
Meeting the inner child
Exploring possible traumatic experiences
Physical, Verbal or Psychological abuse
Told you natural self is wrong in some way
Exploring the possible sources of dysfunctional behaviors
If you feel you are ready to explore the source of any possible behaviors that you are not comfortable with now this might be the workshop for you. It is similar to the Shadow Self workshop & can be also be quite confronting for participants. However, working with the inner child you will learn how to express & view the world as a whole & your own life in a new more positive light. This understanding will help you gain the ability to experience adulthood through your inner child's eyes with confidence & begin a path of inner healing.
